(VoodooMfg)Voodoo Manufacturing announced  it will be launching a summer sale throughout the month of August. After deploying a robotic arm to automate a portion of its factory in Brooklyn and reaching a major milestone in the cost-reduction plan set forth earlier this year, Voodoo Manufacturing is celebrating by reducing pricing for its Direct Print service by 50%.
Voodoo’s Brooklyn-based 3D printing facility is taking on injection molding with the goal of reducing costs by 90% over the next three years. By building a robotic factory with significant labor efficiencies, Voodoo plans to re-localize manufacturing of plastic parts and bring jobs back to the U.S. The company has already achieved partial cost reduction since integrating robotic automation, and will be leveraging its internal technology and new fulfillment flow with this massive summer sale.
