Hong Kong Students 3D-Print Giant Model of Harborfront for Anniversary Celebration

(SouthChinaMorningPost) Hong Kong secondary school pupils have set a Guinness World Record for the largest display of a 3D-printed sculpture with a giant model of the harbourfront.The 35 square metre creation comprises 1,214 3D-printed items and was made as part of the continuing 20th anniversary celebrations of the city’s return to Chinese rule. The display included sculptures of the International Commerce Centre, International Finance Centre Two, the Court of Final Appeal Building, and the Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Some 1,236 students from 123 secondary schools took part in the competition, organised by the Hong Kong Productivity Council. There were 236 entries with the top four receiving awards.
